We are looking to hire an experienced Head of Account Management to join our commercial team in London, reporting to our Head of Sales UK & EMEA. In this role you will take on a team of 13 professionals in a dynamic environment, where you will be empowered to make an impact every day.

This role you will be the one to manage and drive the commercial relationships with our European clients and drive revenue growth from our existing client portfolio. You will be a key player in maintaining strong client relationships by understanding and servicing our clients’ needs after initial onboarding, ensuring the client starts to ramp up to their potential, while also being a trusted leader and advisor for the whole team, ensuring everyone gets the support needed to reach their full potential.

  • Work as an integrated part of the wider sales team to identify new target markets, share market intel and best practices
  • Manage & cultivate relationships understanding client’s needs, strategy and how we can support their growth
  • Continuously identify new opportunities to drive additional revenue and act as a subject matter expert to clients
  • Maintain strong client relationships by understanding and servicing their needs after initial onboarding, ensuring clients ramp up to their potential
  • Define an action plan for additional efforts to realize the potential and drive of the account management team
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of client setup and product offerings
  • Develop ideas for new strategic sales targets, and ensure overall goals and strategies are created carried out in the team
  • Manage, coach, and develop team members

Things we’ll look for on your resume

Ideally, we expect you to have 7+ years of experience in Account Management with a proven track record working with FinTechs, Payment businesses and banks across Europe, which has given you an in-depth understanding of the payment’s industry. Furthermore, we expect you to be a solid people manager with a track record of building top-performing teams.

You can build effective relationships and achieve influence at the various levels in an organisation, both internally and externally, and you can introduce change through collaboration. You have strong leadership skills, and you are naturally driven by supporting and setting your team up for success. Also, you have an ongoing interest in the development of the industry.

As a person, you are a strong team player, who demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude. You are commercially driven, with a goal-oriented attitude, and you thrive in a fast-paced global environment, where result- and detail-orientation is key to succeed. You are a problem solver with good intellectual and analytical rigor, and you can maintain a great mood and uplift your team even on busy days.
