About the role
We are looking to hire a dynamic and skilled professional to join our Commercial Expansion team in London, reporting to the Head of Commercial Expansion.

In this exciting role, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), senior management, and cross-functional teams to drive strategic expansion initiatives. This includes launching into new markets, exploring new verticals, managing M&A deals, and forming key partnerships. You will also support the CCO with high-priority projects, ensuring the smooth running of the commercial department through year-planning, KPI tracking, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

What you will be doing

  • Shape our future: Work closely with the Commercial Expansion team and management to define and execute our global expansion roadmap.
  • Own projects End-to-End: lead the full lifecycle of expansion projects from concept to completion—whether it\’s entering new markets, securing M&A deals, driving licensing opportunities, or establishing partnerships.
  • Generate impactful insights: Perform in-depth market research and provide strategic, commercial, and financial analysis to inform key business decisions.
  • Drive growth & innovation: Continuously seek and identify opportunities that can fuel revenue growth, business optimisation, and market leadership.
  • Collaborate across teams: Build strong, collaborative relationships with teams like sales, account management, legal, finance, product, and compliance to deliver on commercial objectives.
  • Support the commercial organisation: Help drive critical, high-impact projects that drive the future success of the commercial team

What we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you will bring 2-4 years of hands-on experience in managing and delivering strategic projects in the FinTech, payments, and/or banking industry. Experience with expansion projects is highly desirable.

You have strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of commercial strategy, operations, and finance. You have proven track record of managing project from initiation to completion, consistently delivering results on time and to a high standard, while managing both internal and external stakeholders. You excel at breaking down complex challenges and presenting solutions in a clear and effective manner. Furthermore, you are skilled at delivering impactful communication to stakeholders, whether through presentations, proposals, decision memos, or project updates.

As a person you have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships across all organisational levels and work well in cross-functional settings. You are a self-starter who thrives on driving outcomes and consistently goes the extra mile to exceed expectations, and you are a collaborative, responsible, and diligent team player, with a strong sense of ownership over the projects you manage.

As an international company, fluent English is required. Proficiency in German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, or Japanese would be an added bonus.
