Main Responsibility:
Oversee branch operations and manage personal bankersβ operational duties, acting as the primary on-site leader in the absence of the Area Branch Manager, who focuses on business development. Report directly to the Area Branch Manager with a dotted line to Head Retail Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Ensure branch operational excellence alongside the Area Branch Manager.
β’ Manage operational performance of Personal Bankers/Cashiers.
β’ Hold joint custody of cash, valuables, security forms, and locker keys; sole custody of loan documents.
β’ Maintain branch keys and alarm codes as the second point of contact for emergencies.
β’ Supervise and authorize cash transactions, ensuring AML/KYC compliance.
β’ Enter and manage inventory of security forms.
β’ Authorize debits to constituent and office accounts (within agreed limits).
β’ Monitor and balance bills, postage, and stationery; reorder as needed.
β’ Verify and sign Demand Drafts and inward clearing transactions.
β’ Reconcile accounts and oversee account opening/closing.
β’ Manage loan accounts, including appraisal, supervision, and documentation.
β’ Calculate drawing power and assist in loan application preparation/renewal.
β’ Ensure KYC compliance and maintain loan-related registers.
