North Middlesex University Hospital, one of London’s busiest acute hospitals, are seeking a committed recovery nurse to join their fast-paced clinical team.
Despite seeing on average 2,000 patients a day, over 500 in their busy A&E department alone, North Mid prides themselves on their ability to consistently provide world-class standards of healthcare and a caring approach to every one of their patients. After being fully modernised with a £200 million investment, North Mid have state-of-the-art facilities including a world class service for sickle cell and thalassemia patients, with their other specialist services including HIV, cardiology, blood disorders, diabetes, and fertility.
This is a fantastic chance for an enthusiastic recovery nurse to undertake a challenging role and adapt their skillsets and experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery of individualised care to patients while working as a part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team. This is a superb opportunity for anybody who thrives in a busy, hands-on environment, has an empathic approach to all patients, and is seeking to learn from some of the UK’s leading healthcare professionals.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Registered Nurse
- NMC Registration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong initiative and commitment, with a ‘can do’ attitude to work
- A patient-centred approach to work
- A minimum of 6 months experience working within the NHS
