North Middlesex University Hospital, one of London's busiest acute hospitals, is seeking a driven and experienced critical care nurse to join their highly skilled clinical team within their Intensive Care Unit. Despite seeing on average 2,000 patients a day, over 500 in their busy A&E department alone, North Middlesex prides themselves on their ability to consistently provide world-class standards of healthcare and a caring approach to every one of their patients.

After being fully modernised with a Β£200 million investment, North Middlesex Hospital has state-of-the-art facilities including an exceptional Critical Care Unit, which is supported by a 24/7 Critical Care Outreach Team whose role focuses on critically ill patients outside the unit. The department provides invasive and non-invasive respiratory support, renal support, pre and post-surgery support, and cardiac support. With North Middlesex's ICU taking pride in their ability to treat the sickest patients while focusing on the training and development of their clinical staff, the opportunities for an ITU nurse to grow and learn are endless.

This is a superb opportunity for a qualified critical care nurse to join a committed clinical team and fast-track their knowledge and experience within North Middlesex Hospital's exceptional ICU services. Important Requirements:

  • NMC Registration & ITU qualified
  • At least 6 months NHS experience in the last 3 years
  • Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and an ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
