University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) are searching for a motivated and passionate Band 6 Recovery Nurse to join their highly skilled team. UCLH is one of the most complex NHS trusts in the UK, serving a large and diverse population. We provide academically led acute and specialist services, to people from the local area, from throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Assessing consciousness and airway
  • Pain management
  • Managing nausea and vomiting
  • Preventing complications
  • Wound care
  • Medication administration
  • Patient education
  • Discharge planning
  • Emotional support

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Registered Nurse
  • NMC Registration
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong initiative and commitment, with a 'can do' attitude to work
  • A patient-centred approach to work
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working as a Recovery Nurse within the NHS in the last 3 years
