University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) are searching for a motivated and passionate Band 6 Registered Critical Care Nurse (ICU) to join their highly skilled team. UCLH is one of the most complex NHS trusts in the UK, serving a large and diverse population. We provide academically led acute and specialist services, to people from the local area, from throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.
You will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality patient care; whilst working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team. Day-to-day work will be in line with the trust policies, objectives, protocols, and local guidelines in accordance with NMC regulations.
Important Requirements:
- NMC Registration & ITU qualified
- At least 6 months NHS experience in the last 3 years
- Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and an ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centered approach
