Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust (MEH) are searching for a passionate and driven Medical Rostering Advisor to join their highly skilled team. MEH is a specialist National Health Service (NHS) eye hospital in Finsbury, run by Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust together with the UCLH Institute of Ophthalmology which is adjacent to the hospital, it is the oldest and largest centre for ophthalmic treatment, teaching and research in Europe.
The Role
As a Medical Rostering Advisor you will be required to manage and maintain medical staffing rotas, ensuring safe and effective service delivery. You will also be expected to coordinate bank staff bookings to support operational requirements and oversee and support medical payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. In this role you will work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to resolve rostering challenges and provide expert guidance on rostering systems and workforce utilization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical rostering within the NHS or similar healthcare setting
- Fully competent in using HealthRoster (or equivalent) and Bank Staff systems
- Experience using Optima system and exposure to allocate software
- Strong working knowledge of medical payroll processes
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
