North Middlesex University Hospital (North Mid) are searching for an experienced and passionate Band 5&6 Radiographer to join their highly skilled and enthusiastic team. North Middlesex provides both hospital and community care, helping to keep people in the best possible health at every stage in their lives. Its maternity, children, and adult services span a range of medical and surgical specialities and its adult and children’s emergency departments are among the busiest in London. North Mid is also proud to offer one of the largest services in the UK dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of red cell haemoglobin conditions, including sickle cell disease and thalassaemia syndromes.
Main duties of the role:
- Assess referrals or request form, and justify under radiographic regulations and locally agreed protocols.
- To prioritise patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
- You will be providing a high-quality diagnostic service whilst maintaining a safe working Imaging environment.
- You will be responsible for help organising the patient workflow and liaising with a multi-disciplinary team.
- You should have a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work, exceptional organisational skills that will enable you to manage a varied workload ensuring safe and clinical practices.
Requirements:
- BSc or Diploma in Radiography.
- State Registration.
- Evidence of post graduate specialist training equivalent to Master’s level.
- Evidence that knowledge of general imaging techniques is up to date.
- Evidence of the ability to critically analyse radiographs.
- Demonstrable evidence of a wide range of general radiographic experience.
