The IT Support Manager is responsible for providing reliable and secured IT helpdesk support to end users as well as supporting local business infrastructure.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Manage the business stakeholders and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, service providers and business partners.
  • Develop IT strategy for BOS UK office to meet local regulatory and business requirements.
  • Perform IT budget planning and financial management.
  • Understand and manage local regulatory requirements for IT services with the help of compliance and risk management teams.
  • Uplift the risk posture for the IT infrastructure services while providing value-added services to business users as per agreed SLIs, putting the customer at the centre of the business.
  • Manage infrastructure services hosted locally such as network devices, storage, servers, voice telephony, CCTV and Door Access Systems, and any local regulatory applications, ensuring IT services are reliable and secured.
  • Provide onsite and remote support to end users. Ensure business needs are prioritised especially for client-facing staff.
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues/requests and work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
  • Keep track of all requests/issues with work logs on all cases (using formal documentation), close or escalate to second level/vendors and follow up until the problems are solved.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, and any other authorised peripheral equipment.
  • Housekeeping of server room and equipment racks with proper updated tracking.
  • Liaise with vendors in service recovery and upgrading works on all systems installed in our offices.
  • Participate in any Group or local projects, such as supporting the roll-out of new applications, conducting UAT.
  • Maintain and update all local procedures and policies to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in banking or financial institution industry.
  • Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of the local regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Sound knowledge in Network / Voice Telephony / Server OS management / VM Management / Active Directory management and O365/OneDrive/MS Teams.
  • Good understanding of Physical security, Cloud and Cloud-based technology.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with root cause analysis capability.
  • Data backup skills using VEEAM and rules/policies setup for data management.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-culturally diverse environment.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
