The BNY Summer Internship Program is a 10‑week experience for high‑potential students. Interns work on challenging projects, collaborate in teams, and gain insight into what it is like to work for a global financial services organization. From day one interns are immersed in a culture of innovation and dynamic collaboration, receiving:

  • Enterprise‑led orientation, an executive speaker series, and a virtual training curriculum.
  • Meaningful, challenging work assignments with mentorship and training.

Internal Audit plays a key role in helping the organization succeed. Interns receive targeted on‑the‑job training and collaborate with experienced audit professionals. Typical projects include:

  • Process mapping and flowcharting.
  • Process gap identification through analysis.
  • Testing bank controls for effectiveness.
  • Discovering and translating data anomalies into insights.

Program Eligibility:

  • Enrollment in a 3‑year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business‑related and/or technology‑related majors (preferred).
  • Graduating between Dec 2026 and July 2027.
  • Minimum 2:2 degree classification.
  • No sponsorship required for employment visa status in the country where applying.
