We are looking for a highly organised and delivery‑focused Delivery Manager to support two cross‑functional product engineering teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving effective agile delivery, removing impediments, optimising team performance, and ensuring predictable, high‑quality output. This role is critical in enabling the teams to execute against their commitments and deliver customer and business value consistently.
Role Description- Maintain a healthy backlog in partnership with Product Managers and Tech Leads.
- Support the teams in breaking down work into clear, achievable increments.
- Ensure sprint goals are well understood and delivery remains on track.
- Serve as delivery lead for two squads, ensuring both have the structure, clarity and support needed to succeed.
- Monitor team capacity, throughput, and predictability using Velocity, Cycle time and other relevant metrics.
- Communicate delivery status, risks and impediments to stakeholders proactively.
- Identify bottlenecks, blockers and dependencies early and coordinate resolution.
- Support cross‑team coordination for multi‑squad initiatives or platform‑wide dependencies.
- Ensure Jira reflects accurate, real‑time data.
- Improve team workflows, processes and reporting to increase efficiency and clarity.
- Help drive standardisation and best‑practice delivery frameworks across teams.
- 3‑5 years’ experience as a Delivery manager or Agile Lead.
- Proven experience running agile delivery for multiple teams simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, agile frameworks and scaled delivery.
- Excellent facilitation, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working in modern engineering environments with CI/CD, cloud platforms and API‑driven development.
- Ability to work effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and QA.
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to challenge constructively.
- Background in fintech, financial services, payments or banking.
- Jira, Confluence or agile tooling experience.
- Experience supporting platform, core banking or API‑first engineering teams.
- Exposure to cross‑border delivery, migration programmes, or regulatory change projects.
