An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and numerate individual to join the Treasury Products & Sales Global Markets Belfast Dealing Team. This role entails a combination of customer interaction, deal execution, delivering hedging solutions as well as responsibility for daily administrative tasks.
In this role you will:
- Proactively service the Treasury needs of an assigned portfolio of Retail, Business Banking & Corporate customers.
- Liaise with and build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of key regulatory obligations and procedures to ensure compliance (e.g. MiFID II), as well as facilitate the full onboarding of customers seeking derivative hedging solutions.
- Provide a professional and unrivalled service to our external and internal customers to differentiate our offering from our competitors.
- Be informed on financial markets to be capable of confidently providing views, opinions and solutions to customers.
What will make you stand out:
- Finance Related Degree (or an equivalent / technical course).
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with a sound understanding of financial markets, excellent numerical ability and commercial acumen.
- Experience of FX interest rate risk management as well as knowledge of financial instruments and derivative products.
- Team focused with strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication and relationship building/networking skills.
- Strong decision making experience, highly motivated and results focused with strong organisation skills.
- Experience of managing a portfolio of customers within a Financial Services setting.
- Ability to assess all risks associated with the execution of derivative hedging including compliance, credit and operational risk.
- Drive and commitment to working in a customer focused business that is ever changing, with an ability to work as part of a progressive team but also have the drive and focus to take own initiative.
- A track record of delivering on challenging targets.
- Foreign Exchange dealing experience.
- Interest Rate product dealing experience.
- FSA regulated person status.

The Treasury Products & Sales Belfast Dealing team is part of the Corporate and Commercial Banking division and is responsible for providing a range of Treasury foreign exchange (FX), interest rate hedging (IRH) and money market products and services to a broad base of customers across Corporate Banking, Business Banking and Branch Banking in Northern Ireland.
