LEEDS BASED

The UK Deposit Takers directorate (UKDT) is responsible for the supervision of over 600 UK banks, building societies and credit unions, including a number of systemic, complex banking groups and some of the most innovative new banks in the UK. Its aim is to contribute to a safe, sound, and competitive UK banking system through delivering effective prudential supervision. Its work cuts across most – if not all – of the Bank’s strategic goals, and it is instrumental to their delivery. Analytics and Mutuals Division (AMD) is responsible for the prudential supervision of the UK's large and small building societies and credit unions. The division is also home to the Data & Analytics Team.

Almost 70% of the building societies and credit unions we supervise are based in the North of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The division is a key part of the Directorate's location strategy, bringing supervisors and the regulated building societies and credit unions we supervise closer together. There is a need for a Leeds based administrator to provide onsite and local area support to management based in Leeds, and the team more widely. The Head of Division is based in the Leeds office with several supervisors, and a Senior Manager, with more expected to join over the next 6 months.
