Operations Services department provides processing support for the front line business units handling trade finance, loan and cash management products while operating as a 1LoD processing function. The Cash Management team are responsible for the account and payment services for London Branch. As a Junior Assistant - Cash Management, you will be responsible for providing payment services support for clients in Corporate Banking department, Financial Institutions department, EMEA Syndications Centre and Commodity Business Centre. This is a full time permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Internet Banking, ZAP, and SWIFT direct payments for corporate customers
  • Process account opening and be responsible for the account maintenance
  • Process and settle payments and related charges through SWIFT and internal ledger transfers
  • Review and update client's information file including mandate amendments, authorised signatories and contact information
  • Maintain accurate diary for all payments and fixed term deposits
  • Respond to internal and external queries in a timely manner
  • Collect information from clients to support transactions reviews
  • Participate in system enhancement projects, user acceptance testing (UAT) and system implementation activities
  • Cover the daily payment transactions tasks as required
  • Assist the team to complete systems' upgrading testing
  • Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements

  • Degree educated preferably in Finance, Business or Accounting
  • Proven track record in similar business stream
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry is preferable
  • Good knowledge of Banking industry and processes is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task
  • Willing to learn
