Role Description:
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated professional individual to join the EMEA Deliveries (Lifecycle events) Team of the F&O and OTC Clearing Operation (Team size 6) part of the EMEA Regional Operations function of 52 people based in the UK and India, who is looking to further expand or start a career in the field of Investment Banking Operations/Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) Operations.
This job is responsible for providing operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include handling trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems and providing operational support to internal partners. Job expectations include maintaining a high degree of accuracy with customers and data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing all lifecycle events for EMEA markets supporting a Global client base and encompassing Equity, Fixed Income and Commodity products for both cash settled and physically deliverable products.
- Responsible for managing the integrity of our BAU controls across the EMEA Exchanges that are cleared & processed by the operation.
- Provide support and guidance to impacted parties and stakeholders including:
- Front office trading business (Sales, Trading and Agency)
- Finance (Balance Sheet Substantiation)
- Client Money
- Transaction Reporting
- Onboarding / Client Service / Collateral
- Exchanges and Industry Forums
- A focus on continuous improvement of the operating environment with regards to our core lifecycle management functions in region.
- Partners closely with Technology, Operations Strategy & Front Office to drive change inclusive of technology enhancements and evolution of the follow the sun operating model.
