This job is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. Job expectations include applying and expanding knowledge by completing required licenses and trainings.
This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to plan their short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money management solutions.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
- Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If missing the 66, an offer can be extended with the condition of passing within 60 days.
- At least one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and knowledge of investment products and services.
- At least one year experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment with goal achievement.
- Ability to set and accomplish goals, build relationships, and collaborate effectively.
- Effective communication skills and confidence in engaging clients.
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and seek client solutions.
- Efficient time and capacity management.
- Thoroughness in regulatory due diligence and long-term client strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Spanish proficiency, written and spoken.
- Strong computer skills for multitasking in demanding environments.
- Three or more years’ experience in financial services or sales with goal achievement.
- Additional professional designations like CFP or CRPC.
- Insurance licenses obtained.
