This job is responsible for moderately complex activities supporting the assignment, sourcing, gathering, furnishing and movement of financial and client information and data. Key responsibilities include fund setup, client identification data, pricing, and cost basis reporting. Job expectations include providing quality service and effective operations support for internal business partners and external clients.
- Performs moderately complex activities supporting the assignment, sourcing, gathering, furnishing and movement of financial and client information and data according to the established guidelines and procedures.
- Responds to moderately complex client inquiries via numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service.
- Reviews and approves required account documentation.
- Identifies risk and opportunities for process improvement based on an understanding of how the work impacts other operational units.
- Maintains knowledge of operational processes and assists in training less experienced team members.
As part of Wealth Management Operations Client Data Governance, this individual will be responsible for supporting new and ongoing efforts impacting client data. This support will include validation of data fixes supporting current processes, as well as historical data on production fix changes or project implementation. This includes completion of in-depth analysis, updates, and reporting related to data cleanup efforts for larger strategic initiatives. This individual may work closely with other Wealth Management Operations teams, the Line of Business, branch offices, and technology partners to support in-depth analysis for ongoing data quality to ensure the integrity of Global Wealth Management data is maintained.
This will include the coordination of work among team members to review various spreadsheets containing data quality action items and review the remediation of those data discrepancies that have been identified. This associate will work closely with the team manager to coordinate Data Strategy/Remediation Work Sessions and coordinate the reporting and research necessary for the GWIM Data Management and Controls Governance process.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Client and Account data for Wealth Management.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to interact with various band levels.
- Ability to quickly and effectively react to changes in project/program scope, direction and responsibilities.
- Ability to work within an environment with a variety of opinions and priorities and be able to get to a resolution and agreement.
- Previous project experience is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
