We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging visual content and support campaigns highlighting banks’ climate impact. You’ll shape how our work is seen across social media and help drive the shift toward greener banking.

What difference will you make?

Your work will help Bank.Green clearly communicate the climate impact of banking and inspire people to take action. Strong visual design increases engagement with our campaigns, tools and insights, helping more people shift their money away from fossil fuel financing and towards greener banks.

As a volunteer-led organisation

Your designs will be used directly across live campaigns and public channels, meaning your contribution will have a visible and real-world impact in accelerating climate action through finance.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience creating digital graphic design content, particularly for social media.
  • Confidence using modern design tools (such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
  • A portfolio or examples that demonstrate strong visual design and digital storytelling.
  • An understanding of current design trends and formats for online platforms.
  • The ability to work independently, manage their time, and collaborate with a remote team.

What will you be doing?

You will work closely with our communications and design team to create visual assets that support our campaigns and core initiatives, including our growing alliance of green banks and our business certification programme. Your designs will help explain the climate impact of banking and inspire people to take action.

Key priorities

  • Designing engaging visual content for social media, particularly Instagram, to support campaigns and ongoing communications.
  • Creating creative assets for key initiatives and reports, helping translate complex climate and finance information into clear, accessible visuals.
  • Refining and adapting existing assets to ensure consistency with our brand and messaging.
  • Collaborating with a small, remote, mission-driven team while also managing your own design tasks independently.
