Location: Bank End Primary Academy

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work part-time at Bank End Primary Academy. We always appoint on merit, and we are open to discussing flexible working options.

Working hours: 22.5 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), term time only.

Salary: £13,419.27 per month (FTE £25,918).

About the role

  • Work under the guidance and direction of the class teacher to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and inclusion, including pupils with SEND.
  • Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and inclusion, including pupils with SEND.
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver learning activities and interventions.
  • Help create a safe, caring and purposeful classroom environment.
  • Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence and self-esteem.
  • Support behaviour, routines and positive relationships.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.
