About this role
To implement the approved strategy for assigned channels / pages. The role will include working on social accounts for British comedians as well as premium TV shows.
Responsibilities
- Run the day-to-day operation of assigned channels and pages on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and other social video platforms; proactively use audience development best practice to create compelling viewer and brand experiences
- Developing new creatives for existing and future brands
- Write copy relating to the videos programmed for the channels to either appear on the site or for use in promotion elsewhere
- Devise and deploy optimal written metadata including titles and tags
- Brief Channel Coordinators and interns on programming strategy and channel optimisation for assigned accounts
- Coordinate with producers, broadcaster and talent to ensure publishing strategy is aligned with all different stakeholders
- Work closely with Content Operations team to make sure the flow of assets and information ensures that the publishing schedule is always met
- Brief editors to create compelling clips and compilations for assigned social accounts
- Check analytics and pull reports to inform ongoing strategy
- Work with the Head of Channel Strategy to ensure network strategy is executed
Knowledge & Skills
- At least 2 year experience of running YouTube channels (or other relevant digital platforms) whether that be for a Creator, MCN, Publisher of personal channel
- Experience of Facebook video and growing a Facebook audience
- Knowledge of all key social video platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok etc.
- Interest in extending television brands into the online space
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong copywriting skills & high attention to grammatical detail
- The ability to build relationships fast and have strong communications skills
- The ability to work in team environments
Desirable:
- Experience of working with TV content on social media
- Experience working with TV talent or Comedians
- Digital marketing knowledge
- Experience with FAST channel scheduling
- Some basic skills working with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
