This is an entry level position, ideal for anyone with an interest of working in TV and a passion for social and digital media.
Job Purpose
Providing support for the Channel Strategy team.
Responsibilities:
• Alongside the respective Digital Channel Managers, run the day-to-day operation of assigned channels and pages on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and FAST channels; proactively use audience development best practice to create compelling viewer and brand experiences
• Developing new creatives for existing and future brands
• Write copy relating to the videos programmed for the channels to either appear on the site or for use in promotion elsewhere. Devise and deploy optimal written metadata including titles and tags
• Creating a promotional and playlist strategy for each channel to ensure maximum views as well as utilization of key platform features
• Work closely with all stakeholders to make sure the flow of assets and information ensures that the publishing schedule is always met
• Working with the Head of Channel Strategy to ensure network strategy is
executed
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Some experience running YouTube channels whether that be for a Creator, MCN, Publisher of personal channel
• Experience of Facebook video, either as a user or for a creator or MCN
• Knowledge of all key social video platforms including Instagram, Twitter etc.
• Interest in extending television brands into the online space
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong copywriting skills & high attention to grammatical detail
• The ability to build relationships fast and have strong communications skills
• The ability to work in team environments
• Fluency in multiple languages is highly preferred
Desirable:
• YouTube certified
• Experience of working with TV content on social media
• Digital marketing knowledge
• Creative portfolio
• Some basic skills working with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
• Experience scheduling FAST channels and knowledge of the FAST space
