About this role
An exciting opportunity to manage and create content for digital channels for key kids programmes for a global leader in the production and distribution of children and family content.
Reporting to the Global Head of Digital, the role is focused on creation of content, devising strategy, implementation, and operations for all assigned digital channels and brands. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of our latest shows. You will be responsible for growing viewership and revenue for these brands across the world. We are looking for someone with experience working with YouTube, social media and/or similar CMS driven platforms and knowledge of reporting analytics from these platforms. The ideal candidate will possess video and graphic editing, plus delivery workflow knowledge. An interest and familiarity with children’s content is preferential.
Responsibilities
- Creating regular exciting and engaging, short and long form high-quality video content for each brand.
- Creation of cloud-based screener file via programme master files.
- Launching, managing, and programming the official YouTube channels across multiple territories using best in class audience development strategies to grow our channels. Ensuring we are using new and existing tools offered by YouTube to grow channels (e.g., Live Streaming / Shorts / Premiere etc.).
- Amazon Prime Video Direct CMS management.
- Uploading of new programming onto Amazon and rectifying any editorial or metadata errors.
- Keeping on top of the YouTube algorithm and regularly using YouTube analytics to understand and enhance content performance with an ability to react quickly to performance or platform changes.
- Create, devise, and deploy optimal written metadata including titles, tags and reviewing policies, as well as world-class artwork (thumbnails) ensuring high CTR's across our channels.
- Working with the Global Head of Digital to ensure network strategy is executed and assist on.
- Developing new creatives for existing and future brands.
- Sharing insights and learnings with rest of department and wider distribution/licensing/brand/marketing teams.
Knowledge & Skills
- Highly skilled in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop essential, while knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator and Motion Graphics is a plus.
- Previous experience on YouTube essential, with knowledge of Amazon Prime Video Direct/Slate a plus.
- Strong analytical skills
- A deep understanding of all YouTube features including Analytics, Content ID, downloadable reports.
- Extensive and direct experience managing Digital channels, confidence in analysing performance and presenting.
- Ability to stay 'cool' when the pressure is on.
- Expertly manage multiple projects at any one time, with excellent organisational skills and ability to meet regular weekly tight deadlines.
- Another language is preferred but not required.
- Interest in extending television brands into the online space.
- Efficient and effective.
- The ability to build relationships fast and have strong communications skills and work in team environments.
