This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn to build high-quality locking mechanisms with precision and care. With full training provided, it’s a fantastic opportunity for someone motivated, detail-driven, and eager to develop a long-term career in a technical, fast-paced environment. This role will be based at our Willenhall manufacturing facility.
What will you be doing?
- Assembling lock cylinders and components to meet precise quality and production standards
- Following work instructions, drawings, and technical guidelines with accuracy
- Inspecting finished products, identifying and reporting any defects
- Using and maintaining hand tools and assembly equipment safely
- Keying and pinning cylinders to specific customer requirements
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised, and safe
- Tracking output and highlighting any issues to the team leader
- Working collaboratively to meet team production targets
- Taking part in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Always following all health & safety procedures

- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment

Please Note: Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:45 / Friday 08:00 – 12:30
