Our Keyguards (Motorbike Emergency Response Riders) are the super heroes of our business. They provide help and a first-class response service to our customers - from responding to alarm activations and securing properties, to delivering a forgotten passport to a stressed traveller at the airport; every shift offers a new challenge. In this dual-role position, you will act as both a Key Guard and a vital support to the Shift Manager, playing a pivotal part in delivering a second-to-none emergency response service. You will lead by example, demonstrating the professional standards and behaviours expected of all Key Guards while ensuring operational excellence at all times. This fast-paced, varied role requires professionalism, reliability, and a proactive mindset to consistently exceed customer expectations.

What you will be doing?

  • Perform as an exemplary Key Guard, executing the required duties, upholding the highest of standards for the Banham brand and acting as a role model for our other Key Guards.
  • Coordinate and assign activations and outstanding jobs to the Key Guard team.
  • Monitor response times and performance to ensure service standards are consistently exceeded.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for team queries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Step in for the Shift Manager when needed, including overseeing vehicle safety checks and maintenance planning.
  • Support and deputise for the Shift Manager to keep operations running smoothly at all times.
  • Manage client communication, both inbound and outbound, to support the Office team during office hours and act as a primary contact outside of those hours.
  • Handle People matters professionally and sensitively, including absence, performance, grievance and sickness.
  • Carry out regular audits (daily and quarterly), ensuring all records are accurate and compliant.
  • Identify and resolve rota or scheduling issues proactively.
  • Train, coach, and support both new and existing team members.
  • Represent Banham with professionalism at all times, whether on duty or in company uniform/vehicles.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the team and wider operation.

NB - this is shift based work - working rotating week on week off 12hr shifts of nights and days. (Days 6am-6pm and Nights 6pm-6am)

What can you bring to Banham?

  • Class 2 Motorbike licence holder (minimum of 1 year for insurance purposes) with good knowledge of London roads and the challenges that riding in London presents (Essential).
