We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Bench Locksmith to join our expert team at Banham, a name synonymous with security and craftsmanship. Based in one of our showrooms, you’ll play a key role in fabricating and duplicating keys, building and repairing locks, and providing exceptional service to our in-house engineers, trade partners, and customers. Whether you’re an experienced locksmith or eager to train in Banham’s specialist systems, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a respected and long-established security brand.

What You’ll Do
- Carry out general bench locksmith work, including pinning up cylinders, assembling locks, and cutting keys by hand and by machine.
- Service and repair locks brought into the showroom, providing expert advice on maintenance and care.
- Maintain accurate stock records, perform regular stock checks, and address discrepancies in lock components and assemblies.
- Ensure all locks, components, and materials are correctly booked out using our computerised systems to keep stock levels precise.
- Complete and submit all required documentation, including daily logs and health & safety checks.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with all health and safety standards.

Working 5 days out of 6 (Mon - Saturday) 8:30am-5:30pm
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a bench locksmith or in a similar trade role.
- Experience with Banham or third-party locks.
- Knowledge of X3 or Fusion Capture systems (training provided).
- IT literacy and confidence using digital systems.
