Job Description
Our client within the banking sector is seeking a proven Pega Service Engineer to join their existing team to help simplify operational processes and assist customers with the organization’s Business Process Management and API Integration technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot incidents and problems, driving service improvements to deliver value to colleagues and customers.
- Identify incident trends and deliver software solutions for long-term fixes and stability of the Pega application.
- Support the Technical Recovery Manager on all high and critical incidents.
- Assist in code reviews and defect resolution.
- Support wider delivery considerations such as risk management, planning, and maintaining current documentation.
Experience:
- Certified Systems Architect (PEGA qualified).
- Experience with PEGA 7 and PEGA 8 in either a PEGA Business or PEGA Technical Environment.
- Experience working with REST/SOAP web services.
- Familiarity with PEGA Architecture and supporting infrastructure.
- Experience in analysis and design of solutions, prototyping, build, testing, implementation, and application support.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of web services using JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JAX-B, and Java web frameworks.
- Experience in upgrading applications to PEGA 8.
- Knowledge of PEGA application frameworks like CLM (Customer Lifecycle Manager).
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence and other tools and techniques such as DevOps.
