As Head of Group Reporting, you will be a senior financial professional responsible for managing and overseeing the Group's financial reporting process. Your attention to detail and robust financial control framework will ensure statutory and non-statutory compliance across the Group. You will play a critical role in the preparation and presentation of financial information for the Annual Report.
This position will lead our Group Reporting Team, developing and implementing best practices while collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership and external auditors.
Core areas of responsibility- Responsible for the Group's and HQ financial and management reporting
- Spearheading and developing the Group Reporting Team
- Overseeing preparation of Group statutory accounts
- Responsible for HQ functional cost centre management and balance sheet
- Develop the Group's consolidation system, OneStream
- Introduce dashboard reporting
- Manage the Group's forecast, budget and 5YP process
- Manage the interim and annual reporting processes
- Ensure latest reporting requirements are adhered to, including IFRS 16
- Manage the external auditing process with auditors
- Involvement in ad hoc projects as required (to include system/ERP transition)
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with substantial post qualification industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and develop a high performing team
- Extensive experience with recent accounting consolidation software and ERP transition
- Proven experience within publicly listed companies and manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate across a distributed group environment to enable effective working
- Exceptional numerical and analytical evaluation skills with up-to-date technical knowledge
