Exciting opportunity for a Lead BI Engineer with a strong Data Management/Business Intelligence background and expertise in Microsoft SQL Server to manage a team of 5.
This job will involve developing and supporting Power BI Solutions for the global business (Operations), building, and maintaining ETL/ELT processes using SSIS and SSRS, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric.
You will have strong Power BI solutions experience - including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
As an operational Business Intelligence Leader, you will have strong experience in supporting 24x7 mission-critical systems with a strong focus on uptime, stability, and service excellence.
You will have solid hands-on database design experience with schema development, logical and physical data modelling experience.
You will have excellent SQL skills - including writing scripts, stored procedures, query optimisation, and database performance tuning experience.
Suited candidates are likely to be passionate about building, cultivating and leading high-performing data teams.
As part of this role, you will act as the Lead supporting enterprise global finance system implementations.
Migrating and integrating the legacy finance system into multiple finance systems for the organisation, whereby you will support and be a sponsor for the migration and integration activities into Microsoft Fabric.
The ideal BI Lead Engineer will have recently completed a similar job for another global organisation, whereby you are keen to apply lessons learnt in a new global environment and challenge yourself in a new environment.
