Our client has an AWS Architect for a suited candidate to start next week. The role will require deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
The key specialist areas include:
- Proven experience architecting solutions using AWS ECS, EKS, Lambda, and EC2.
- AWS Governance & Multi-Account Management - AWS Organisations, Service Control Policies (SCPs), Landing Zone best practices.
- Define and assist in implementing best practices for networking, identity, and storage in AWS.
- Produce high-level and low-level designs (HLDs, LLDs) in line with Defra's CCoE design standards.
- Develop and present options papers to support architectural decision-making and governance approvals.
- Security & Compliance - GuardDuty, Security Hub, KMS, IAM governance, AWS Config.
- Hybrid Networking & Connectivity - AWS Direct Connect, VPN, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, and BGP routing.
- AWS Security & Monitoring - logging, and threat detection.
- Cloud Cost Optimisation & Performance Tuning - Right-sizing, auto-scaling, and FinOps principles.
