Play a key role in supporting the quality and enhancement of learning and teaching at Bangor University. We are looking for an organised and proactive Quality & Standards Administrator to join our Quality and Standards team within the University’s Registry, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team helping to ensure that our academic programmes meet the highest standards and that opportunities for further enhancement are well supported.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for a wide range of activities related to quality assurance and enhancement, including helping to organise key events such as the University’s annual CELT (Centre for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching) conference, supporting peer observation processes, and assisting with academic quality procedures as required.
- Liaise with academic staff, professional services, and external stakeholders, and maintain accurate records and update webpages and internal resources.
- During busy periods, support the wider Quality and Standards team with essential administrative tasks, helping to ensure smooth service delivery across the University.
Qualifications and experience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable working as part of a team and also capable of managing own workload.
- Educated to GCSE level or NVQ level III in an appropriate subject (e.g., Customer Service or Business Administration) or possess equivalent experience. Previous experience in an office/administrative environment is essential.
- The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential for this role.
- This role will be located on campus at Bangor with potential remote working options under the Dynamic Working framework; discussions will occur at interview. Applications may be considered on a part-time or job share basis.
