About the roles

We are looking for two enthusiastic and organised Administrators to join our Student Administration team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, student-focused environment where your contribution will help shape a positive experience for all students at Bangor.

We are preferably looking to fill one full-time role (36.25 hours per week) and one part-time role (14.5 hours per week) but will consider applications for other variations of part-time hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide vital administrative support across a range of activities, including managing the assessment and examination processes right through to awards and graduation.
  • Support key University activities such as registration and enrolment.
  • Deliver services in the Hub, dealing with student queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure that every student receives clear, timely, and friendly support.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail; able to work as part of a team providing high-quality customer service.
  • Comfortable handling routine administrative tasks and managing competing priorities.
  • Clear and effective communication with a wide range of people.
  • Previous experience of dealing with queries and providing information to students and academic staff is essential.
  • Candidates should be educated to 2 AS Levels or 1 A Level or NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject area (e.g. Customer Service or Business Administration) or possess equivalent experience.
  • The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
