Bangor University is seeking to recruit a permanent, full-time Security Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the University Security team.

Liaising with staff, student and visitors, the Security team ensures the safety of the campus 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through in person mobile patrols, remote monitoring and three staffed security lodges.

With duties ranging from pastoral support of residential students to ensuring the safety of VIP guests, the Security team rely on digital systems and data to allocate resources and maximise on campus safety.

The role holder will support the administration of the Security team including preparing the shift patterns of the team, liaising with other departments to ensure all planned events have been risk assessed and resources allocated.

Candidates should be educated to 2 AS Levels or 1 A Level or NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject area or equivalent experience in a similar role.

Proven experience dealing with data sets, using them to produce management reports and processing day-to-day business activities, such as payroll and rostering, is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence in post as soon as possible.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
