As a Business Insights Analyst within the Commercial function, you will be responsible for our sales forecasting models, analyzing business performance and market trends, whilst providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. You will also support the sales organization with business case formulation and pricing modelling. You are highly organized, technically proficient, and data-savvy with an intellectual curiosity and a drive for constant improvement. Responsibilities

  • Quality & Consistency: Ensure our sales data is reliable and consistent by maintaining a single source of truth. Perform checks and validations to keep data accurate and aligned across different sources.
  • Analysis & Visualization: Use your analytical and problem-solving skills to make sense of complex data. Create engaging visualizations and provide clear insights to help measure business performance and support sales planning.
  • Collaboration & Enablement: Work with key stakeholders to understand their needs, document use cases, and develop data models and visualizations. Help teams use data independently to inform their strategies and decisions.
  • Database Management: Have strong experience with SQL and BI reporting. Be skilled in writing complex queries and using BI tools to build intuitive dashboards and reports.
  • Transformation: Play a key role in our recent transition from Qlik to Tableau. Own the definition and structure of data flows. Ensure data is clean, well-organized, and ready for visualization. Implement best practices for data modelling to enhance performance and usability.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Ability to analyze and explain data clearly.
  • Experience in delivering self-service tools and data solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong skills in data visualization and analysis.
  • Familiar with buyer journey and sales cycle analysis.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
