We are seeking an ambitious Client Development & Sales Associate to join our Bang & Olufsen Ealing store. This is a key role with a strong focus on proactively identifying, developing, and nurturing new business opportunities, while delivering exceptional in-store sales and customer experiences.
This store is operated by a Bang & Olufsen Partner. While you will exclusively represent the Bang & Olufsen brand, you will be employed by our trusted Partner business: Bang & Olufsen of Ealing. When you apply your CV will be shared with this trusted Partner business.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Client Development & Sales Associate, you will act as a brand ambassador both in and beyond the showroom. Your primary mission is to generate new leads, build long-term relationships within relevant industries, and convert opportunities into sales. You will balance proactive outreach and networking with high-touch in-store customer service, creating lasting partnerships and customer loyalty.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with architects, interior designers, property developers, business owners, and private clients, and who thrives on building a strong local network for a luxury brand.
- Proactively identify and generate new leads through networking, outreach, events, referrals, and CRM activity.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships within relevant industries (e.g. architecture, interior design, property, and premium lifestyle sectors).
- Actively follow up on prospects and nurture relationships to create long-term business opportunities.
- Represent Bang & Olufsen at industry events, customer events, and local networking opportunities.
- Deliver outstanding in-store sales experiences, guiding customers through solution-based selling.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Bang & Olufsen products, brand heritage, pricing, delivery, and integrated solutions.
- Apply solution-selling techniques to maximise sales, including upselling and add-on opportunities.
- Take ownership of customer enquiries and projects from initial contact through to completion.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective and consistent use of the CRM system.
- Maintain awareness of new product launches, promotions, and company initiatives.
- Support showroom presentation, product displays, and promotional materials in line with brand guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales, product, and relationship-building skills.
- Attend site surveys and home demonstrations as required, including outside normal working hours when necessary.
You are a natural relationship builder with a passion for premium products, sound, and design. You enjoy opening doors, creating opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships while delivering a refined retail experience.
Ideally, you bring experience from luxury retail, business development, or a customer-facing sales environment. Experience working with high-end clients or within related industries is a strong advantage. Familiarity with high-end electronics and the Bang & Olufsen brand is a plus.
