Now let us tell you about the role: Manage daily onsite material processing, recovery, and final disposal operations. Ensure health, safety & wellbeing of all operational personnel. Maintain health & safety compliance for all 3rd party visitors. Ensure compliance with Environment Agency site permit. Comply with all relevant legislation and company processes. Participate actively in the on-site senior management team. Support recruitment, induction, and training of new employees. Train, develop, and coach all employees. Oversee preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment. Coordinate with colleagues to ensure material transportation aligns with offtake agreements and permits. Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and conduct competency assessments. Play a leading role in the site SHEQ working group. Conduct performance reviews for operational personnel. Participate in daily site planning and regional processing meetings. Maximize plant availability and material throughput, maintaining output quality. Manage operational costs effectively. Ensure sufficient labor is available for all shifts, maintaining safety and compliance. Approve payroll submissions.
