The Role
Reporting to the Head of Transactional Services, the Credit Administrator supports the credit control team by completing administration tasks such as allocating cash, raising credit notes/invoices, managing mailboxes, and reconciling bank statements.
Responsibilities
- Allocate customer receipts accurately according to remittance advice.
- Follow up on receipts without remittance to prevent unallocated cash.
- Support credit control sending copy invoices.
- Maintain unallocated cash below targeted levels.
- Raise credit notes/invoices as per process and manage related mailboxes.
- Collaborate with the credit control team to ensure timely administration tasks.
- Reconcile bank statements with receipts in Sage 200.
The Ideal Candidate
An organized, methodical individual with over 12 months in a similar role. Knowledge of Sage 200 is essential, as transactions are primarily processed in this system. A positive attitude and customer service focus are required.
