The Business Development Manager is responsible for maximising new and used car sales through the Hyundai UK franchise network by promoting Hyundai Finance products and services within a designated region, North-East England. The primary purpose of the role is to work under the direction of the Sales Director for Hyundai & Genesis Finance, collaborating with multiple Hyundai dealers in the region to enhance sales performance using Hyundai Finance offerings.
Key Accountabilities- Strategic Dealer Management: Develop sustainable, profitable relationships with allocated dealers, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring product mix, cancellations, complaints, and promoting profitability through finance products.
- Planning: Create quarterly activity plans detailing call schedules and focus areas based on strategic goals and finance and insurance review outcomes.
- Budgetary Control: Deliver the annual sales plan aligned with volume and profit targets through continuous review and monitoring of regional opportunities and costs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish strong working relationships with dealers and Hyundai UK counterparts at appropriate levels within the region.
- People Development: Collaborate with the Sales Director to identify, plan, deliver, and review coaching and training sessions aimed at maximising dealer performance.
- Business Development: Develop a strategy to maximise support to Hyundai Capital by increasing loyalty, volume, and reducing the trade cycle.
- Competitor Activity Monitoring: Provide regular feedback on competitor activity both regionally and nationally to aid in campaign and strategy development.
- Customer Retention Program: Maximise customer renewal programs by ensuring timely dealer activity and providing accurate feedback.
- Risk and Compliance: Identify risks, incidents, and breaches according to company policies, ensuring all activities meet legal, regulatory, and business compliance standards.
- Other Tasks: Perform additional reasonable tasks as requested.

Remuneration Package- Competitive base salary ranging from approximately £45,000 to £50,000, depending on experience/expertise.
