Relationship Manager – Corporate & Commercial Banking – Belfast

As a Relationship Manager you will help look after a portfolio of UK SME clients across Northern Ireland, utilising digital tools alongside direct telephony and video channels.
Responsibilities
- Own the full relationship with clients, ensuring service excellence and client delight.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to deepen relationships, especially with growing internationally active businesses.
- Support end‑to‑end lending applications, consolidating and analysing financial accounts.
- Drive productivity and simplification, maximising efficiencies across the portfolio.
- Apply the highest standards of credit and conduct risk management to keep the bank safe and to treat all customers fairly.
- Collaborate with the team to build a positive, inclusive culture and contribute to a proactive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Professional experience driving successful client relationships and sustainable business growth.
- Experience in a B2B client‑facing environment, ideally with commercial growth, business development or Relationship Management background.
- Preferred: Risk‑management experience (e. g., Credit Risk, AML/KYC).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with awareness of UK SME market trends and digital opportunities.
- Strong team spirit and ability to adapt and collaborate in a dynamic environment.

- Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary range: £41,808 – £62,712 per annum (depending on experience).
- Annual cash allowance: £500.
- Holiday entitlement: 27 days plus bank holidays (28 days after 5 years of service), with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.

- Company‑funded pension: 8% of salary with potential to increase to 12.5% if the employee contributes.
