Santander CCB Lending Services is looking for a Loan Agency Analyst based out of Manchester. You’ll be working within a successful team in the Corporate and Commercial Banking (CCB) area of Santander, delivering a best-in-class agency service on some of our larger, most complex lending transactions. No two days are the same, giving you the chance to develop a variety of skills. The team are responsible for all aspects of the facility agent role, including new deal closing, amendment and waiver management, document execution and in-life facility management. There are a wide range of stakeholders and customers who you will be in contact with on a regular basis, so excellent communication skills are pivotal to this role. Commitment to excellence in client servicing is fundamental and out of hours working may be required.
Knowledge and experience of the syndicated loan market would be a distinct advantage for the successful candidate, as well as having the ability to grow and adapt quickly within an ambitious and innovative team.

- Learning complex lending products, process, and various lending platforms on the job.
- Delivering excellent customer service to a wide range of external customers as part of a diverse team comprised of lending experts.
- Reporting to a Team Manager within Lending Services as part of your line management structure.
- Providing invaluable support to internal stakeholders like Relationship teams, Finance and Control plus others daily.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all internal policies and procedures which are in place for our lending products.
- Innovating towards an improved customer and colleague experience.

Professional Experience
- Experience of syndicated lending (Required)
- Experience working in an operational area within a Bank (Required)
Education
- Degree in a relevant discipline – finance or economics (Preferred)
- Hold a professional qualification from the Chartered Banker Institute or similar training body (Preferred)
Hard Skills
- Advanced skills in Excel (Preferred)
- Knowledge of complex lending products (Preferred)
- Evidence of dealing with a range of stakeholders and customers (Required)

Salary Range: £35,452.00 - £53,178.00 per annum (depending on experience). This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.

27 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 28 days after 5 years service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
