Santander Asset Management is looking for a Fund Operations Oversight Associate based out of Glasgow. This role performs processes and controls within the scope of the operations team, which primarily involves the oversight of a number of third-party suppliers who provide services across fund accounting, middle office, custody and transfer agency for UK OEICs and unit trusts.
To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Previous experience in TA or custody either with a fund administrator or asset/investment manager.
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK Collective Investment Schemes.
- Experience working across fund accounting.
- Excellent organisational skills to ensure work schedules are adhered to and that all reporting tasks are tracked and completed in a timely and accurate manner with the ability to prioritise accordingly.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a pro-active and professional attitude to work.
- Team player who has the capability to build good relationships both internally and externally, including comfortability around liaising with senior management (preferred).
- Experience of involvement with projects including fund changes β closures, mergers (preferred).
- Market vendors system knowledge (Bloomberg, Reuters etc) (preferred).
