We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about SEO, and wants to join a dynamic digital agency, being part of an experienced and growing Organic Search team. As an integrated and collaborative agency, we require a Technical SEO professional who is able to produce work and results that will complement our Digital Marketing and Web Design services, remaining organised across all projects.
Working with the wider Organic Search team, they will plan and execute technical delivery, provide high-value insights to support strategy development, and collaborate with account leads to deliver unified plans aligned to shared KPIs that drive measurable improvements in clients’ organic performance. The role requires an individual who can comfortably communicate with clients (or is open to developing this skill), external developers and colleagues alike, and is able to work across different CMS and SEO tools and platforms. Working across a selection of different clients, with a range of requirements and KPIs, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to fulfilling key Technical SEO duties.
Responsibilities
- Regularly crawl and audit sites, documenting issues with clear actions to fix
- Collaborate with the Organic Strategy team to contribute to wider marketing plans
- Execute technical implementations in line with client objectives
- Provide accurate data and insights as part of monthly reporting
- Support website build projects with best-practice recommendations
- Assist in managing website migrations (redirects, indexing, monitoring)
- Support the sales process with audits and insights where required
- Monitor sites’ technical health and flag issues/opportunities to account leads
- Create and maintain setups for clients across Google Analytics, GTM, GSC
- Conduct keyword research, grouping/benchmarking and position monitoring
- Investigate site issues and provide clear communication to Client Services
- Keeping on top of industry changes, updating the team with clear actionable insights
- Present account strategy and updates to clients, verbally, through written communications, or via presentation in strategy reviews
Requirements
- 3+ years’ hands-on Technical SEO experience
- Excellent problem-solving and issue-diagnosis skills
- Strong on-site tactical knowledge and implementation experience
- Skilled in using SEO tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, GSC, Semrush, Ahrefs, GTM, Sistrix, PageSpeed tools, Looker Studio)
- Good knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (experience with events, goals, and funnel explorations preferred)
- Experience producing SEO reports to reflect performance accurately
- Previous experience working on agency-style SEO campaigns
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Jira) is desirable
