Banana Moon Day Nurseries are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join our team. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursery practitioners to provide exceptional care and education for children in your room. You will ensure a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that supports children's development and learning according to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, supporting, and motivating the room team to deliver high quality childcare and education.
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas.
- Ensuring all nursery policies and procedures are followed, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Building positive relationships with children and their families to support individual needs and progress.
- Monitoring and assessing children's development, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Contributing to the overall smooth running of the nursery.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team within a nursery setting.
