Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team. As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the developmental needs of children and fosters their love for learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of childcare practitioners
  • Planning and delivering activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Maintaining strong relationships with parents and carers to support children's progress and wellbeing

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a childcare setting, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Current clear DBS check and up-to-date safeguarding and first aid training
