Banana Moon Day Nursery in Hatton is seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team, offering a competitive pay rate of £16-£17 per hour. This role is perfect for someone committed to providing high-quality early years care and education in a supportive and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead your designated room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
- Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework through effective planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities.
- Support and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative and ambitious approach to childcare and learning.
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Ensure compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Clear Enhanced DBS certificate with subscription to the Update Service.
- Experience within a nursery setting and ambition for career progression.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Passion for working with young children and promoting their development.
