In this vital role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious, healthy, and nutritious meals for our little learners.

Your tasks will include
- Planning diverse menus that cater to the nutritional needs of young children.
- Preparing and cooking meals for up to 50 children daily, ensuring meals are wholesome and appetizing.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborating with nursery staff to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies.
- Engaging children in cooking activities to enhance their understanding and enjoyment of food.
- Managing kitchen supplies, including food ordering and inventory control.
We are seeking someone with
- At least 2 years of experience in a cooking role, preferably in a nursery or care setting.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Creativity and passion for preparing nourishing meals for children.
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage kitchen operations.
- A valid Food Hygiene certificate and the ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
