Banana Moon Day Nurseries is excited to offer a Nursery Apprentice position at our vibrant and nurturing setting! This role is perfect for individuals eager to embark on a fulfilling career in early childhood education while receiving comprehensive training and support.

As a Nursery Apprentice, you will collaborate with our dedicated team of childcare professionals, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for children aged 0-5 years. This apprenticeship will involve hands-on experience in daily activities that promote children\’s learning and development through play.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with children in play and learning activities
• Assist with the observation and assessment of children\’s development
• Support the implementation of the nursery\’s curriculum
• Help maintain a clean and organized nursery space
• Contribute to snack times, meals, and rest periods
• Work closely with families to build supportive relationships

This is a wonderful opportunity to gain essential skills and work towards a formal qualification in childcare!

Requirements

• A passion for working with children and supporting their development
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
• Willingness to learn and cooperate with team members
• No prior experience necessary; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
• Eligibility to undertake a DBS check
