Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring a holistic approach to child care and learning.
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children, encouraging their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Build strong relationships with children and parents, fostering open communication and partnership.
- Conduct observations and assessments to track and promote children's progress and development.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain a high standard of care and education.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and nursery policies at all times.
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working with young children and commitment to their development and well-being.
