We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Deputy Manager to join our team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries. As the Assistant Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management with leadership of the team in the daily running of the nursery. Additionally, you will take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Manager or Deputy Manager.
One of your main responsibilities will be to act as a Room Leader, ensuring the smooth operation of your designated room. You will be responsible for adhering to Banana Moon policies and procedures, as well as meeting legislative requirements and following the education curriculum to deliver the highest possible inspection grading. In this role, you will also support the training, mentoring, and supervision of the staff team, inspiring them to deliver ambitious practice. You will create a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for children and their families, where each child is encouraged and supported to flourish.
As an Assistant Deputy Manager, you will also play a role in promoting our nursery and building a first‑class reputation. This includes engaging with the local community, marketing the nursery, and providing excellent customer care.
If you have a passion for early years education and care, hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification, and have at least 2 years of post‑qualifying experience along with 1 year of leadership experience, we would love to hear from you.

- DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector
- Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate
- Safeguarding training and qualification
- Minimum of 2 years' post qualifying experience
- Minimum of 1 year's leadership experience
