Banana Moon Day Nurseries is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Years Practitioner Room Leader to join our team. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the room.
At Banana Moon, we believe in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop through play. As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for children aged 2-5 years old.
Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children\βs progress, and liaising with parents and other staff members. In addition, you will support the professional development of your team members and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
We are looking for an individual who has a genuine passion for working with children and who is committed to providing the highest standards of care and education. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, as well as a relevant qualification in Early Years. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

- Prior experience in a Room Leader or similar role
- Sound knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector
